How much does it cost to rent a car in St Barth?
It depends on the car, the season and the length of your stay. Each car shows its price per day, and entering your dates gives the full total, taxes included, before you book.
What is the cheapest car to rent in St Barth?
A small city car. Our cars page shows the price per day on each one, so the cheapest is easy to spot.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Third-party insurance is included. Damage waiver, extra drivers and child seats are options: you see their price and add them only if you want them.
When is car rental cheapest in St Barth?
Outside the high season. Christmas, New Year and the February holidays are the most expensive weeks; late spring, summer and autumn cost much less for the same car.
Is there a security deposit?
No. We no longer take a security deposit. The excess that applies to the car (the vehicle value without a damage waiver, a reduced excess with the CDW option) is shown in your booking summary.
Is it cheaper to book in advance?
Usually, yes: small cars are the first to go in high season. Booking early secures both the car and the price.
Is a small car enough for St Barth’s hills?
Yes for the main roads and nearly every beach. The island is small and the roads are narrow, which is exactly where a small car is easiest.
